The City of Waupun collects taxes for the City, the Waupun Area School District, Dodge and Fond du Lac County, Moraine Park Technical College, and the State of Wisconsin. Property tax bills are mailed in December after passage of the City budget. The city collects tax payments in December and January of each year and sends a share of the collections to the other jurisdictions.

Pay Your Tax Bill
- By Mail: Issue a check to the City of Waupun and mail to 201 E. Main Street, Waupun WI 53963. Be sure to include your Parcel Identification Number on the check’s memo line and attach your property tax payment stub(s). If you require a receipt please include a self-addressed stamped return envelope.
- By Drop Box: Property tax payments may be placed in the Drop Box outside the City Hall entrance on Forest Street.
- At City Hall: City Hall is open for property tax collection 7:30am-4:30pm, Monday thru Friday. City Hall will be closed on December 24, December 25, and January 1. On December 31, the Clerk’s Office will be open for tax collection from 7:30am-12:00 noon (other offices will be closed).
Income Tax Reporting
If you are reporting your tax payment on your 2018 taxes, payment must be postmarked by December 31st or delivered to the City Hall Drop Box by December 31st.

Personal Property Taxes
Full payment is due to the City of Waupun by January 31.
Penalty and interest will be charged for late payments. Interest starts on February 1st and accumulates at a rate of 1% per month. The County imposes an additional penalty of .5% per month.
