Building information modeling (BIM) is best described as a collection of 3-dimensional objects and data that represents physical objects or a system that goes into a building. BIM is now at the forefront of the construction industry, and is being leveraged to accomplish results never before dreamed of. Excel’s BIM Services department is able to produce BIM deliverables in varying levels of detail (LOD) that range anywhere from generic placeholders, to highly detailed as-constructed representations.
