Christmas tree removal – Posted 3/27/24

GFL IS CHARGING A FEE TO REMOVE CHRISTMAS TREES; THE TOWN WILL ACCEPT THE CHRISTMAS TREES AT THE RECYCLE CENTER WHEN IT OPENS IN APRIL - JUST MAKE SURE YOU HAVE YOUR RECYCLE STICKER.  ALSO, THE TOWN BOARD WILL BE DISCUSSING SOON SETTING UP A FEW DROP OFF DAYS NEXT YEAR FOR CHRISTMAS TREES FOR TOWN RESIDENTS.  PLEASE BE PATIENT WHILE WE WORK THROUGH THIS CHANGE.

Burning permit – Posted 3/27/24

REMINDER: Please remember when burning anything in the Town of Oconomowoc, you need to check with Western Lakes fire department to see if a burning permit is required.

new Highway Department building – Posted 3/27/24

The new building across the street from the Town Hall is now the new Highway Department building. You may reach them at 262-727-7025; the Clerk's Office and Police Department will not be moving out of the Town Hall.

Town Yard Waste Recycling Center – Posted 3/27/24

The Town Yard Waste Recycling Center is set to open on April 1st, 2024.  The location of the site is W379 N6968 N. Lake Road (formerly Hwy. 67) and is open Monday, Wednesday and Saturday from 8 AM to 4 PM.  Recycle stickers will be available for purchase during tax time and during regular office hours (M-F 8 AM to 4 PM) at the Town Hall for the 2024 season at a cost of $20.00 each.  To see a complete list of what the recycle center accepts and offers please click this HERE

Building inspector hours – Posted 3/27/24

The town hall is open Monday through Friday 8 AM to 4 PM, this includes the police department and highway department. The building inspector has different set hours please see his page for more details.
