Available Classes

Encore Theater Company has the following classes open for enrollment. Start dates and times for the classes will depend on student availability. If you are interested in a class, please let us know by clicking the class link and signing up. We will contact you as soon as there are enough students to fill a class. Private lesson times will be set up individually.

Acting/Theater -

Instructor: Lori Sitzabee

One hour classes - size to be no less than 5 and no more than 12

5-8 year-olds- explore theater through fairy tales, theater games, movement, character work and fun. Fee: $60/month for members. $75/month for non-members.

9-12 year-olds-explore theater through character development, theater lingo, voice development, theater games, roles in theater and movement. Fee: $60/month for members. $75/month for non-members.

Acting Seminar. Two hour classes - size to be no less than 7, can be large

13-18 year-olds-explore theater through character development, voice control, movement, monologues, scene work, audition skills, technique as well as exploring back stage, lighting, directing and other administrative aspects of theater. Fee: $80/month for members. $100/month for non-members.

Private Instruction

One-on-one intense preparation for serious students seeking assistance with auditions for theater and/or college.

Fees: One hour is $30. Half an hour is $18.

Music/Instrument

One hour classes - size to be no less than 4 and no more than 10

Beginner Guitar Class. Before purchasing any instrument, please contact Lori Sitzabee. Students with little to no guitar knowledge. Class will teach rudimentary skills, learn to tune their instrument & beginning chords. Students must provide their own guitar. Fee: $60/month for members. $75/month for non-members. Thursdays 7-8pm

Intermediate Guitar Class. Students with basic guitar skills (know a few chords & names of strings). Class will teach more complicated chords, melodic playing & ensemble playing. Fee: $60/month for members. $75/month for non-members. Thursdays 8-9pm

Guitar Ensemble. Students with advanced skills interested in ensemble work and technique. Students will explore classical style and playing lead guitar, scales and finger picking. Class scheduled with interest.

Private Lessons $72/month for members. $80/month for non-members. Private lessons are for 30 minutes. Times available: Monday-Friday 4:30-6:30. Click on the link below to fill out an interest form.
