Free Sexually Transmitted Infection (STI) Testing and Treatment
Did you know that each year there are 20 Million New Sexually Transmitted Infections (incidences) in the United States?
Young people (ages 15-24) are particularly affected, accounting for half (50 %) of all new STIs, although they represent just 25 % of the sexually experienced population.
Are you sexually active and concerned you might have been exposed to an STI?
Good news for you: We provide STI testing and treatment to men and women, free of charge.

If you test positive for either of these infections, you will be encouraged to return to our clinic for treatment. We may feel it necessary to refer you for further testing for other infections and diseases.
Once tested, we will have results typically available to you within one week of your appointment.
If you seek STI testing and treatment at our clinic, we are required to share your identifying information with the Department of Health, as is any medical facility testing for Sexually Transmitted Infections. Please bring a form of identification with you to your appointment.

Free Pregnancy Tests
The first step to take in finding out if you are pregnant is to take a lab quality pregnancy test.
If you have been sexually active and are concerned about being pregnant call us or schedule your free appointment online.
We have trained medical professional staff who put your well-being first. You are not alone.
The LC Clinic will provide you with a FREE pregnancy test during your appointment. Our lab-certified urine-based pregnancy tests will be administered by nurses, when available. If you request, you will be provided with a written “verification”; or in the absence of medical personnel, a “confirmation” of your positive pregnancy test. However, only a physician can diagnose a pregnancy.
How accurate is the test?
Our tests are laboratory rated. Urine-based pregnancy tests detect the hCG hormone in a pregnant woman’s system. Since the production of hCG can vary greatly from woman to woman, time periods when a “positive” test occurs can also vary. Our pregnancy tests can often detect some women’s hCG level as early as 7 days after conception (21-24 days after the first day of your last period), although some women’s hCG level is not detectable until at least one week after a missed period.

Free Limited Obstetrical Ultrasound
If you have had a positive pregnancy test, it is important to have the test confirmed with an ultrasound exam. Making an informed decision means getting the most accurate information you can.
In addition to confirming the pregnancy test, if you are a candidate for the free limited ultrasound, the results will help you answer the following questions:
- Is the pregnancy located where it should be (in the uterus not in the fallopian tube)?
- Approximately how far along in the pregnancy are you?
- Do we see what we would expect to see in an early pregnancy? (The miscarriage rate in early pregnancy is about 1 in 5.)
Even if you are considering an abortion, it's important to get a professional ultrasound exam. The ultrasound will help determine what risks you would be facing by terminating the pregnancy. We can help with this crucial step.
An ultrasound in early pregnancy could be crucial to your health and your future.
Our limited ultrasounds are performed by medically-trained professionals under the supervision of our Medical Director. Our ultrasounds are non-diagnostic in nature, but can let you know approximately how many weeks you are into your pregnancy, and if your pregnancy is viable.This free ultrasound will help you know if a “decision” even needs to be made! But if you ARE pregnant, you DO have choices!
The ultrasound is scheduled after an initial pregnancy test appointment. We offer ultrasounds for women beginning at 6 weeks pregnant.
