Voter registration is required in the City of Waupun before an elector is allowed to vote. A qualified elector is a U.S. citizen, at least 18 years of age, having resided in the election district for at least 28 days.
 
An elector can register in person in the office of the City Clerk, at the polling place on election day, or by mail. Please call the Clerk's office for the date restrictions for registration at 920-324-7900.
 
Proof of Residence
Proof of residence is required when registering in the Clerk's office and at the polling place on election day.
 
Only one form of acceptable proof of residence is required to register to vote. An acceptable form of identification includes a current and complete name and residential address. Examples of forms of acceptable proof of residence include: a Wisconsin driver's license; a Wisconsin identification card; other identification card or license issued by a Wisconsin governmental body; real estate tax bill or receipt for the current year before the election; a residential lease which is effective for the period that includes the election; or a gas, electric or telephone service statement for the period not earlier than 90 days before the election.
