The fall primary election is coming up on Tuesday, September 14, 2010.  Please click on the Election tab on the left side of this screen to view a sample ballot.  As a friendly reminder, this election is a straight party ballot, as an elector you need to delegate a politicial party and then vote within that party.  Absentee ballot applications can be found on the election tab of this website, or obtained by coming into the clerk's office.  New residents who need to register can obtain the new voter registration form by going to the election tab on this website, or stopping in at the clerk's office.  Please be sure to bring proof of residence (example: sewer utility bill, telephone bill, cable bill, electric bill).  Or you may register at the polling location on election day.

The telephone number for the Town Hall has changed.  To reach the Clerk's office, Highway Department or Administrator/Planner please dial 920-474-4449.  To reach the Building Inspector please dial 262-490-4141.  To reach the Town Police Department non-emergency number please dial 920-474-4812.  

Pursuant to Wisconsin Statutes section 66.047 property owners within the Town of Oconomowoc are required to mow all grasses and weeds exceeding one (1) foot in height.  If the Town Weed Commissioner Terry Largent is called with a complaint by a resident or Town Employee to inviestigate a property, a certified letter will be sent to the property owner and that person or persons will have five (5) days to comply with the statute before the Town Commissioner will have the property mowed at the owner's expense.  Charges for mowing are $100 per hour, and if the charges are not paid, they will be assessed to the proerties tax bill with the possiblilty of additional charges.  Weed Commissioner Terry Largent can be reached at 262-567-3361.

The Town Recycling Center located on Hwy K next to the Oconomowoc Landsacpe Supply Center is open on Mondays and Wednesdays, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM.  Saturdays, 8:00 to 3:00 PM.  You do need to be a Town of Oconomowoc resident to use the facility, a sticker for your vehicle is also required and may be obtained either at the Clerk's office or at the facility.  Please have your driver's license available to show proof of residency.
