The Town's zoning code has been updated to a draft form, and can be viewed on this web-site under the Town Zoning tab.
The Town Recycling Center tentative opening date will be April 2, 2012. The location of the site is W379 N6968 N. Lake Road (formerly Hwy. 67) . Please note there are changes for 2012, the most noticeable change, there is an annual fee of $10.00 to use the facility. Patrons on the facility will need to purchase a special sticker from the Clerk's office before they will be allowed to enter the recycle center once it opens. The green stickers that were given away for free will no longer be accepted. Another change for the facility, the Town Board extended an hour of operation on Saturday (8:00 AM to 4:00 PM). The last change that was made, was to eliminate commercial use of the recycle center. If you have any questions please contact the Clerk's Office or to view acceptable items or a map of the new location, click on the Recycle Information tab on the left side.
If you have not received your 2011 tax bill, that does not exempt you from having to pay them, the Clerk's office does not require the tax bill to process a payment. Waukesha County's WEB-SITE does have the 2011 tax bill information available to view. The Clerk's office will be taking payments during regular office hours (M-F 8 am to 4 pm). If you are unable to visit our office during those hours of operation, you can use the drop box outside the main door, or you can mail in the payment (postmarks are accepted). If you wish to have a receipt returned to you, please enclose a self-addressed stamped envelope.
Dog licenses are available, the cost to license a dog is $10.00 for spayed/neutered or $15.00 if they are not. Property owners are allowed 2 dogs, and they must be licensed. April 1, 2012 is the deadline to license a dog without paying an additional $5.00 penalty. A copy of a current rabies vaccincation certificate needs to be submitted along with the application. Here is the application for the 2012 dog license, incase you did not receive one with your tax bill.
